"As a child growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, my inspiration has been the beautiful art of the Catholic Church. The architecture, decorations, and sculptures got my attention. Also, the admiration for books containing illustrations and art books with works of the Great Masters. Being self-taught, the desire to achieve the same quality has guided me to copy and study the Old Masters. Now they inspire me to create something with their ideas, creating something like a conversation; each work a lesson, each lesson a discovery of infinity possibilities" ~ Edson Campos
